IL POGGIO

Il Poggio Accommodation is a family-run property of about 6.6 acres with gardens, fruit trees like cherries, pomegranate trees, apricots, and some olive trees, strawberries, lots of flowers and of course some forest to get some shadow and fresh areas.

The poggio is split into 3 different buildings each with its own gardens and parking: LA CASTELLINA, LA CASA ROSSA and CASA AL BOSCO.

- The first biggest one is LA CASTELLINA, the "Main Villa" where there are the cottage "Il Giardino", 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen and dining area with access to the garden and the main residence of the owner, both sharing the 2500 sqm of garden with a stunning swimming pool, a porch to have open air lunch and the barbecue.

During the high season it is possible to rent the entire property exclusively, so the apartment and the owner's house for a total of 10 pax with exclusive use of the swimming pool.

- The second building LA CASA ROSSA comprehends 2 independent  bedrooms with exclusive 2 bathrooms, La Vigna and Il Pino, with private parking and outside areas.

- The last area is the one closest to the forest "LA CASA AL BOSCO" Cottage, with completely private and exclusively garden with shadows under the trees and a small private jacuzzi under the stars for a romantic and intimate stay. (work in progress).

Il Poggio has all countryside features you look for in Tuscany: the tranquillity of being secluded but close to Pontedera, the nearest city with a lot of restaurants, shops and a very lovely historical centre.
